To promote renewable energy in Oman through the deployment of a clean, sustainable and efficient technology at residential and other Premises; To promote demand reduction, particularly at times of system peak demand, Building on the 2008 study recommendations and with the Authority’s strong commitment to promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle, creating a greener future for generations to come, and contributing to the development and prosperity of Oman, the Authority launched ‘Sahim’, a renewable energy initiative.
